In Loving Memory of Dad - Pop-Pop - Friend

After a four year battle with melanoma, my Dad passed away on January 27, 2012.  His strength and determination to endure six medicinal trials and many surgeries will always be an inspiration to us.  We are grateful to the team of doctors who took care of him at UPenn and always kept an optimistic outlook when helping my Dad fight the cancer.

Dad had many passions including the Phillies and hunting.  Last May we celebrated his 60th Birthday at the Phillies stadium.  It was an incredible day for everyone.  I will never forget how happy my Dad was that day - to be in that place that he loved so much and be surrounded by friends and family, to walk down the same hall as the baseball players, and to stand on the field and look up into the stands.

Dad also loved spending time hunting and at the beagle club.  The beagle club where he hunted is an 100 acre wooded reserve located within an 1,000 acre blueberry farm.  It was a place of solitude for him and I'm so grateful that we were all able to share that special place with him after his passing.

We are so grateful to family and friends who have kept us in their prayers and thoughts in this difficult time.  He was too young to leave us.  We will always remember his smile, his laughter, and all that he taught us.
