Catie's New Classroom

Last week Catie was moved from the Toddler 1 (12 to 18mo) to the Toddler 2 classroom (18 mo to 2yr+).  Both Cooper and Cate were in great spirits before school.  The weather was sunny and warm and they had a blast playing before heading off to school. 

Cooper was excited to go join up with his friends in his classroom, but Cate wasn't so sure. It was her first full day in her new classroom and as she was surrounded by all new faces, she got very upset. So upset that even her Kukla and lovey were of no comfort. It was also very hard on Mommy as the teacher "encouraged" me to leave. So off went Mommy feeling guilty and sad. 

As I snuck into the classroom at the end of the day I was so happy to see Catie playing with another girl in her class. Cate seemed to be doing fine and having fun, until she noticed me peering over the cubbies at her and then it was waterworks again..... Oh well, it is getting better day by day and Catie is making more friends and already has the teacher's wrapped around her little fingers!
