School Daze

The last couple of weeks at school have been very busy and fun filled for Cooper and Cate. Cooper is officially old enough to go on field trips this year and over the last couple of weeks he has had field trips to a pumpkin patch north of Troy and a fire station in Albany.

For the trip to the pumpkin patch, Cooper got to take his first trip in a real school bus! Mommy was happy to tag along and help out the teachers with the class.

At the pumpkin patch the kids first went through a corn maze, visited the farm animals, and went on a hayride (minus the hay)!

For Cooper's trip to the Fire Station, they took the city bus and Daddy tagged along. All of the kids were given a tour of the fire house and were allowed to sit in the firetruck.

Soon it was time for the school Halloween party.

Catie had a great time trick or treating around the building and the treats that followed - Dunkin Donut Munchkins!  I wish I had a picture of her eating the jelly munchkin she was given.  She looked at it with such curiosity before literally gobbling it down.  Our Little Cupcake :)

Cate's class was a wide array of animals, fairies, and one cute Cupcake!

By the time I got to Cooper's classroom, he had already taken off his T-Rex costume so that he would not get it dirty - he's becoming quite the neatie.  Cooper's classroom was full of superheros including three Spidermans and one Batman.
