This year Halloween almost didn't happen. Sandy, the first described Superstorm, devastated much of the northern shore line and barrier islands of New Jersey. On Halloween, many residents had not been back to their homes and many more were without power. Many communities delayed Halloween until the following weekend.
On Friday, Marlton held Halloween. It was a great opportunity to get Cooper and Catie together with their friends Morgan and Gwen. We nicknamed them "Three Princesses and One Beast".
Ready for Trick or Treating: Merida (aka Morgan), Wolverine (aka Cooper), Cinderella (aka Catie), and Jasmine (aka Gwen).
The kids are getting restless! Time to go.
They quickly became pros with Trick or Treating with Morgan and Cooper running ahead and leaving the "little" ones to fend for themselves.
Back at the house, its time to count the loot.
Catie and Cooper both were allowed to pick a few treats to eat.
On Saturday, we headed to Grammy's for Halloween Part II where Cooper and Catie Trick or Treated in a nice development across from Grammy's house. Again the kids were pros, except Cooper was confused when someone said "Trick" instead of treat!
